Open Forum June 2009 Speakers

On June 18th 2009, IPRT hosted an Open Forum event 'Re-imagining the Role of Prison in Irish Society.'

Speakers at the event were: Prof Andrew Coyle of King's College London; Prof Fergus McNeill of the University of Glasgow; and Dr Ursula Kilkelly of University College Cork.

Panellists were: Prof Ian O'Donnell of the Institute of Criminology, UCD; Jimmy Martin, Assistant Secretary, Dept of Justice, Equality and Law Reform; Brian Purcell, Director General, Irish Prison Service.
