Committee for the Prevention of Torture: 2011 Report

The latest findings from the CPT was published today which highlighted a number of significant human rights issues for Ireland. The visiting committee conducted its visit from 25th of January to 5th of February 2010. While it also inspected Garda stations and psychiatric institutions, the majority of the report focused on the conditions in Irish prisons.
