IPRT Submission to White Paper on Crime: 4 - The Community and the Criminal Justice System

31st August 2011

The Department of Justice and Law Reform has committed to publishing a White Paper on Crime in 2011. The development of the White Paper on Crime involves an end-to-end examination of the prevention, intervention and enforcement strategies to combat crime.

A series of discussion documents on key issues have provided structure for consultation during this process. Each document includes a general, non-specialist overview of the issue in question, together with a number of questions to assist in shaping discussion and feedback. IPRT has made submissions to each of the discussion documents.
