Party manifesto analysis: Social Democrats

The Social Democrats launched their party manifesto for the 2016 General Election, 'Building a Better Future 2016-2026', on Friday 23rd January 2016. The manifesto can be accessed here.

The manifesto does not address sentencing or prison issues directly. However, IPRT welcomes the emphases on accountability, community policing, the use of statistics and data, and consistency in recording of crime in the section entitled 'TACKLE CRIME AND SUPPORT POLICING', p. 44.
