The UK Ministry of Justice released an Action Plan in 2014 with the aim of making restorative justice practices available at all stages of the criminal justice system.
The Action Plan outlines the need to provide training to increase the numbers of restorative justice practitioners in order to increase the availability of the provision across the criminal justice system in England and Wales.
