Irish Independent: 'Minister hails young offenders move'

Media attention has turned from the commencement of construction work at the new national children’s detention facility at Oberstown campus, Lusk, Co. Dublin, to Government and NGO reaction to this momentous development.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, IPRT Executive Director Liam Herrick commented on Government commitment to Children’s rights in light of the new development in Oberstown but sought clarity on when 17 year-olds would move from Saint Patrick’s Institution to the new facility.
