A report on the Irish prison system by the Council of Europe Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Degrading Treatment (CPT), published in July, strongly criticised the level of overcrowding across the Irish prison system. Niamh McCormack speaks to Drivetime to echo IPRT's concerns about the report's findings.
