Red FM: Irish Penal Reform Trust says prison conditions are going backwards

On 4 January 2024, IPRT Executive Director, Saoirse Brady, spoke to Red FM in response to the reports of further overcrowding at Cork prison.
Cork Prison was the most overcrowded prison in the state as of 3 January 2024 with 337 people imprisoned there, at 114 per cent capacity.
