Oberstown: Review Implementation Group reports

On 27th June 2018, the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs published the Interim and Final Reports of the Review Implementation Group of Oberstown Children Detention Campus.

The reports provide an update on implementation of the findings and recommendations of a number of independent reviews of Oberstown Children Detention Campus:
- Security Review
- Health and Safety
- Behaviour Management
- Review of the overall operation of the Campus (Operational Review)
The Review Implementation Group was established by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs in March 2017 to ensure all of the reviews’ recommendations were implemented. The Work of the Review Implementation Group was completed in December 2017, including a Review Implementation Group Action Plan (December 2017) which was updated in May 2018 to reflect actions carried out and where progress has been made.
