Parliamentary Question: Prison Building Programme.

201. Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if it is his intention to build, as reported in the media, a new prison on the site of the Central Mental Hospital. [23069/04]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. McDowell):  I have no plans to build a new prison on the site of the Central Mental Hospital in Dundrum.
