270. Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of people employed at the Irish Prison Service headquarters in Clondalkin who are from Longford, the proposed relocation centre for the headquarters, or adjoining counties. [31657/03]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. McDowell): Information on the county of origin of staff working in the Prison Service headquarters in Clondalkin is not contained in the records of the Irish Prison Service. At present there are 125 persons, including jobsharers, employed in the Irish Prison Service headquarters.
