The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is pleased to be one of the 81 community and voluntary organisations that were successful in securing Pobal funding under the Scheme to support National Organisations (SSNO) 2022-2025. This multi-annual core funding, alongside our other diverse donors, allows us to plan long-term strategic penal reform advocacy work.
We were not in receipt of any public funds until mid-2016, when we were granted Pobal SSNO funding. This funding, alongside other sources of funding, helped ensure IPRT’s sustainability.
