Rethinking Remand- Report Launch

IPRT will launch Rethinking Remand, a new report examining the use of remand and pre‑trial detention in Ireland. The research assesses current bail practices and their impact on people in custody, identifying key gaps, systemic issues, and opportunities for rights‑focused reform.
The report findings will be presented followed by a panel discussion. Speakers to be announced shortly.
